Intro

When not performing on theatre stages, Ben’s authentic voice and charismatic stage presence will transport you to another world and will always leaving you wanting an encore.  He can sing, loop, play guitar and is a fantastic musician for any special occasion.

Ben

I’m a young, bubbly performer from Leeds and whilst trying to pursue a career in Musical Theatre, I perform as often as I can as an acoustic solo act to not only gain more experience but to ensure that I keep practicing as a performer. When playing at any event or venue, I try to ensure I have a long list of songs that everyone in the crowd (venue) will enjoy and I often try to put a spin on the classic songs that everyone loves.

I have been singing from a very young age and have played the piano since I was 9 but at the age of 16 I started to teach myself to play the guitar. At 18 I went to college and studied Dance and Musical Theatre for 3 years which I really enjoyed, as it was a great experience and an area I wish to continue with, in the foreseeable future. Whilst at college I also studied areas of artist development, such as songwriting and music production and since then I’ve played at bars, pubs and clubs across Yorkshire and at events, parties and weddings across the country. Usually when I gig these days you will catch me behind the strings and not the keys. As much as I love the piano, guitar is a lot easier to travel around with when gigging for so many different venues.
