Alex Eva is a Leeds-based singer-songwriter with a passion for music who captures her audience’s attention wherever she sing’s. She’s been compared to Eva Cassidy, Susanne Sundfør & Adele with a soaring ethereal vocal & musical style that is both uplifting yet soulful, otherworldly yet familiar. Alex Eva is an experienced performer & offers something for everyone.

My huge repertoire ranges from soul, jazz, swing, pop, funk, rock n roll to pretty, laid back, chilled and easy listening, giving something for everyone depending on the environment and what’s required. I have sung at many venues across the UK and abroad, as well as festivals, events, fashion shows, birthdays, business functions & corporate dos.

For 7 years I fronted a very popular & busy function band. Now my focus is my Acoustic duo, where we often perform at some of Yorkshire’s most well-known restaurants & bars, including LIVIN’italy, Harrogate Brasserie, Harvey Nichols, Broadley’s Bistro, The Marriott & The Ivy.

Although you will tend to see me play regularly as a duo or trio, I have also embarked on a solo career journey, allowing me precious writing and studio time to record my own music & make time for solo gigs.

From a very early age, I have loved music. Listening to it, performing it & writing it. I have a genuine passion for music & one which I love to share with others. Throughout my career I have collaborated with many DJs, written & performed my very own album at the award-winning Sage in Gateshead & been a finalist in the auditions for lead vocalist on a track by Snoop Dog.
