I have worked for over 15 years as a singer and guitarist playing at many venues such as pubs, clubs, restaurants and I have also played at a variety of private events like weddings, birthdays, engagement and anniversary parties to name a few.
There is so much good music out there and I love many styles and genres so because of this I cover quite a few across the board, which include Pop, Rock, New wave, Jazz, Soul and Blues.
Over the years, I have not only gained a HND in music performance but I have released several EPs and albums of my original material on my very own label and I was commissioned to write a song about sub-atomic particles for the university of Leeds, which was a very interesting and different project to most I have been a part of. One of my most memorable requests, was from a couple who were getting married and wanted me to write a personal song for them to play on their wedding day, which was a great honour.
Performing is what I love to do and it has taken me all over the world including places such as Buenos Aires, Barcelona and Cambodia and they have all been amazing experiences. I have also toured in a reggae band and as a saxophonist in a belly dancing band.
I would say I am pretty adventurous and up for almost anything that life has to offer. I love to scuba dive and I have done 3 parachute jumps, as we all need a little adrenaline rush sometimes. In the past few years I have started to challenge myself more and last year I completed my first half marathon and I am in the process of training for the Yorkshire 3 peaks, which I intend to do this year.
