I learnt guitar from a young age and went all the way to the top with grade 8. Growing up I sang in a choir and played in various rock bands throughout my life. Now I am gigging, playing in acoustic shows as a singer/songwriter and a musical entertainer.
I love to lead a clean way of life and look after my well being with meditation and tai chi. I feel this influences my music that I write and helps me to bring positivity in my life performances. I love philosophy and reading and I now work as a teaching assistant in special needs schools.
Currently I am traveling around the UK playing at weddings, parties, bars, pubs and function gigs and I am often in the thick of a lively Friday night out, bashing out all the best singalong tunes and songs to dance to! I also have a residency at an Italian restaurant where I play smooth soulful mellow tunes on request.
As well as all this, I am also recording an album which will contain my Ben Howard influenced acoustic tracks. I gig all around Leeds playing these songs and I have featured at Live at Leeds. I love playing at local community and charity events where there is much respect and love for local artists and good honest music.
I also can come as a duo if requested and we are beginning to play around the country performing jazz, funk and soul music with a wide selection of mellowed out jazzy tunes with influences from Norah Jones and Eva Cassidy.
