I have been active in the music industry for over 20 years and I have gigged extensively throughout the UK, as well as in the USA and Europe. I have shared stages with some cool people including Paul Jones (BBC Radio 2 / The Blues Band/ Manfred Mann), Nine Below Zero, Debbie Davies (USA), Nick Moss (USA), Aynsley Lister, and The Animals & Friends. I co-wrote and recorded some blues albums that have been used on various worldwide commercials and TV programmes and one of the songs made it onto the soundtrack of ‘Stolen’ starring Nicolas Cage. I also became an official Kawai Pianos endorser last year.
I have been a full-time musician for almost 3 years, though I have played music for as long as I can remember. I started playing keys when I was about 3 years old – when I got a Bontempi for Christmas and was taught the basics by my dad, who was a semi-professional guitarist. He played some cool gigs in his time, and was the original guitarist in Woody Woodmansey’s ‘U-Boat’, which was a spin-off from David Bowie’s ‘Spiders From Mars’.
I am a regular in the Yorkshire music scene and perform at many bars and restaurants and I am available for weddings, events, birthdays, you name it! I am also the lead in a 3 piece blues band so if you’re looking for that little extra oomph, then look no further.
